My NWH2610 WEC cannot associate with the NWH660 AP, what
should I do?
ANSWER:
1. Please try to reset the NWH2610 WEC to load factory-default
setting by pressing the hardware-reset button over 5 second.
2. Please verify the Power and Activity LEDs of WEC after
connecting it with your client PC: the Power LED should
be steady Green, however, the Activity LED should be blinking
after associated with NWH660 AP.
3. Please run WMS in the client PC with WEC connected
in order to configure the SSID. The default SSID of WEC
is "any", please change it to the AP's SSID
and do not use the "any".
4. If you could not configure the WEC by WMS, please
make sure the IP setting of your client PC is the same
as the one of the WEC, or try to replace the UTP cable.
Please select "Monitor" tool of WMS and open
"Wireless State" tab to check the Wireless connection
of the WEC: if the WEC associates with NWH660 AP, you
should see the AP's MAC address in the "Current BSSID"
field; if the current BSSID is invalid, the connection
of WEC and AP is failed and the Activity LED of WEC should
not be blinking.
