Note: This installation procedure is not for normal NDC
user, it's only the special case that your PC is poor
in the
Plug-n-Play feature and can't recognize the NDC
ISA card automatically.
1. Before you plug the NDC NonPnP ISA card into
your
PC, click
Start / Settings / Control Panel / System / Device Manager
and then check the
Computer / Properties / View Resources
for FREE IRQ & I/O Port address.
2. Reboot your PC in DOS and copy all files in the \Dos
directory
on the driver CD-ROM to your harddisk. Then run the EUtil.exe
(or JUtil.exe).
3. Set the NDC ISA card to Non-PnP mode and assign
free
IRQ & I/O Port address to it.
Reboot your PC.
4. Under Win95/98 system, click
Start / Settings / Control Panel / System / Network /
Configuration
and then select
Add / Adapter / Add / Have Disk / Browse
Here you must give the path of your driver (for exam D:
or E:)
The system will find the NetWlan.inf automatically, click
OK.
5. Select the NDC NonPnP ISA card from the prompt
window
and click OK.
6. In Network Configuration, select
NDC NonPnP ISA card / Properties / Resources
and assign the FREE IRQ and I/O Port address to the card.
7. Click OK and follow the on-screen prompt to finish
the installation
procedure.
